I’m Feelin’ a Little OCD About OCTV’s Upcoming “Sex and the City” Production at Open Circle Theater This Weekend!

February 23, 2010• byMichael Strangeways

The demented folks at Bad Actor Productions have spun the Big Dial to come up with this month’s late-night theater offering/retro tv show production and the arrow has landed on EVERY sensible person’s favorite HBO chickfest, the beloved Sex and the City. If you’ve been jonesin’ to hang out with Samantha Jones, Carrie Bradshaw and Company then you don’t need to wait for the next big screen offering coming in June…just head on down to Open Circle Theater (2222 2nd Avenue, upstairs from the Buddha Lounge in Belltown) on Friday and/or Saturday for the Cosmo swilling orgy of excess. The doors and bar open at 9.30pm, the show starts at 10 and Friday night is pay-what-you-can and Saturday night the tickets are only $5…that’s cheaper than BUYING a cocktail and twice as much fun…almost. For more info, go to their Facebook page. Check it out.

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
