This year’s PrideFest at Seattle Center on June 27, 2010, immediately follows the Seattle Pride Parade on 4th Avenue, and it looks like it will be the biggest and best yet. With a bigger footprint, the annual all ages Seattle PrideFest has grown to be one of the biggest free Pride Festivals in the nation. Organizer Egan Orion of One Degree Events is really putting it all in for this one with more beer gardens and bigger performers.
But the party won’t stop that afternoon during Pride Sunday. Buses will transport festival-goers from the Seattle Center up to the inaugural MOMO Street Party on Capitol Hill with DJ Lee Decker from 4pm – 9pm, located next to Neumos at 10th and Pike St. American Idol star Kimberley Locke will be performing a few numbers for momo partiers. At 8pm the party moves into Neumos with DJ Rob Hall from Vancouver.
The night before Pride Sunday, on Saturday June 26, 2010, the popular PrideFest Party RED with DJ Phil B (SF) returns and runs all the way until 5 in the morning with tickets priced at just $17, but only if purchased before April 15. The Lobby Bar will be the official pre-bar of RED. You don’t want to miss this event (ages 21+). Go here now to get your discounted tickets to RED with DJ Phil B.
The “Prider” Pass will get you VIP access to all four of the major PrideFest events and it only costs $49 if purchased before April 15. This year the VIP Prider Pass includes access to a special beer garden VIP area and an official Pride T-shirt. The Prider Pass also gives you exclusive VIP entry into RED with DJ Phil B and the MOMO Street Party along with entry into the Pride Closing Party at Neumos with DJ Rob Hall.
