Seattle’s popular Pride Idol returns to RPlace

Last year’s Pride Idol was a surprise success so Seattle Out & Proud, organizers of the annual LGBT Pride Parade, are bringing the weekly competition back to RPlace bar on Capitol Hill. The first competition is set to be held on April 11th, 2010. This year the First Place winner will receive $1000 cash and other fabulous prizes and get to ride on the official Seattle Pride Idol float in the Seattle Pride Parade on June 27. The Runner-Up gets $500 cash and Second Runner-Up gets $250 cash.

Preliminary Competitions are on Sunday, April 11th and 18th. The Competitions will continue every Sunday starting May 2nd and continuing on May 9th, 16th, 30th, June 6th, 13th and concluding with the Pride Idol Finals on Sunday June 20th, 2010.

Doors open at 7:00pm with competitions starting at 8:00pm.
