Happy Easter From SGS!

April 2, 2010• byMichael Strangeways

If you are the religious type, do something religious…if you are the “Hunting Egg” and Easter Bonnet type, do that…if you’re on Capitol Hill and looking for some tunes, go to the re-opened Everyday Music store at their new location behind Oddfellows at 1523 10th Ave, then peek in the window next door to see how the Elliot Bay Bookstore move is coming along; they are set to reopen mid-April…or, you can check out the closing days of the Alexander Calder show at SAM; it closes on April 11th…or, there’s Moisture Festival which is playing both at ACT and at Hale’s Brewery…or, pay your respects to Corey Haim by going to see The Lost Boys at Central Cinema (running tonight through 4/7 at 7pm) or checking out Three Dollar Bill Cinema’s showing of Fortune and Men’s Eyes at Northwest Film Forum on Saturday night…but, whatever you do….DON’T EAT THIS CAKE!!!

-Michael Strangeways (not spending Easter with Casey Treat…)

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
