Sylvia O’Stayformore turned the dream of a shy and innocent Utah Mormon girl into reality when she founded Bacon Strip back in 2005 as a monthly drag show serving up laughter, costumes, outrageous acts, and bacon! Today, Sylvia has taken the show to new levels with new themes and an ever-changing cast of characters.
Bacon Strip is doing a Medieval Knights theme at Rebar on May 1, 2010. Holding court as the Head Drag Queen of the Castle will be none other than Sylvia O’Stayformore. Sylvia will lead an all-star lineup which includes:
- Ade – Torch singing drag queen
- Homo Aregoto – budding new drag talent – a must see
- Eva Androgyny – She’s fierce, she’s hairy, she’s Eva Androgyny!
- Mona Chrome – The two tone former Miss Goth Seattle
- Maxine Delacunt – The latino surly sidekick
- Jackie Scott – 2010 Queen of Hearts from Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle – Seattle’s only black deaf drag queen.
- Sir Sexy Knight Kerry, and…
- Rumors of Jackie Hell are confirmed as the line-up continues to grow!
And of course, Bacon Strip would not be complete without Meat Man Raymondo serving up the main course – BACON! Come in your favorite medieval outfits, such as Princesses, Queens, Knights, Ladies in Waiting, Bar Maids and get a discount on door cover ($7). Prizes will also be awarded for best costume.
