The 1st Annual “Prom Dress Rugby” is going to take place during Gay Pride week in Seattle on Friday June 25, 2010. Members of the men’s Seattle Quake RFC will be wearing dresses and playing rugby and what’s even better their opponent this year will be Seattle RFC Women’s team, The Breakers.
Similar in style to the annual “Dykes vs. Drag Queens” softball game, they will be selling tickets for admission to the sideline and working the crowd to sell penalties, conversions, scrums, line-outs, meters, tries and conversions. Proceeds from “Prom Dress Rugby” will be split with Lambert House and Seattle Quake Rugby.
