Capitol City Pride all set to celebrate Pride Weekend in style on June 12 & 13! Portland’s Pride Northwest will boogie down the following weekend on June 19 & 20!
Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it, too? The Smart LGBT Set knows you can party pridefully in Olympia on the weekend of June 12/13, then do it all over again in Portland on June 19/20, before wrapping up the month on the weekend of the 26/27th in Seattle…then, you get a whole month or so to rest up before heading up to Vancouver, B.C. for their festivities on August 1. Then, you can head off for a little rehab to detox from all that fun…
- Saturday, June 12: Capitol City Pride Festival at Sylvester Park with headliner Kimya Dawson, Captain Smartypants, Coyote Grace and Logan Lynn & The Gentry
- Sunday, June 13: Capitol City Pride Parade starts at Noon from State Capitol steps
- Saturday, June 19: Portland Pride Festival at Tom McCall Waterfront Park
- Sunday, June 20: Festival continues and Parade starts at 11:30am at Burnside and NW 13th and continues down Burnside before cutting over to Broadway and ending up at Tom McCall Park. Headliner for the festival is Blake Lewis.
- Saturday, June 26: Capitol Hill Pride 10am to 10pm on Broadway on Capitol Hill, hosted by Mark “Mom” Finley. Dyke March at 7:30pm
- Sunday, June 27: Seattle Pride Parade begins at 11am at Westlake Park and proceeds to the Festival grounds at Seattle Center. Headliners are Kimberley Locke and Julie Goldman
- Sunday, August 1: Vancouver B.C. Pride Parade starts at Noon, Robson Street to Denman to Beach Avenue and the Festival site at Sunset Beach. Headliner: Yehonathan and Lyrik.
