Gay Pride Weekend in Seattle is shaping up to be the biggest ever as we continue to add events to the list. Be sure to check out our Gay Pride Weekend Calendar (and bookmark it) which we are continously updating with new events every day!
On Friday June 25, 2010, Gay Pride Weekend in Seattle kicks off with so much to do. Get your dancing groove on at Kinetic with DJ Brian Gorr at Chapel…or Gemini Events’ “OBVI” at Pravda Studios will be spinning the “sickest hits” with celebrity hosts Jessica & Hunter. And Chi Chi LaRue is guest DJ at Cuff Complex for just five bucks 10 dollars.
Block parties kick off on Friday June 25th at Wildrose (21+) and at Julia’s on Broadway (all ages). Girl4Girl is holding a giant Gay Pride Party at the Cirque Event Center that is open to both men and women. And in an annual tradition, the alterna-gay night Comeback!, holds their popular Gay Shame Party at Chop Suey.
The Capitol Hill Pride Festival kicks off Saturday June 26, 2010 from 10am-10pm and then the night really starts to heat up with RED, the hottest men’s party of PrideFest, at Neumos with DJ Phil B (San Francisco), and also, the all new Purr video bar is open from 2pm-2am with their popular block party featuring L.A. DJs The Perry Twins.
Superstar Diva Kristine W. performs at Neighbours Nightclub, while at the same time crowd pleaser DJ Kimberly S. is at Cuff Complex for just five bucks 10 dollars.
Havana’s Parking Lot will become “Hey Tranny..It’s Tranny” with a very special live performance from CJ and the Dolls at an event that advertises more Tranny Action than the back of The Stranger.
On Sunday June 27, 2010, it’s the Seattle Pride Parade, one of the largest in the country and PrideFest at Seattle Center, which we have already talked so much about. After that it’s back up in buses to Capitol Hill for the momo Street Party and American Idol’s Kimberley Locke.
Cuff Complex holds their popular block party with lots of men, overflowing pitchers of beer, and a strong lineup of diva performers ($15)…while at the same time Wildrose has their own street party with two of the best DJs in the country, Tina T (Las Vegas) and Seattle’s own Colby B. (by donation)
