AND, they also need volunteers, lots and lots of volunteers, for the Festival. Come to Volunteer Orientation on September 26 at 1pm at Northwest Film Forum!
Of course you have Hollywood aspirations and you can “reach the stars” by being a part of the trailer for the 15th Annual Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival which starts October 15. This is what you gotta do in your first steps toward stardom and eventual drug/alcohol/sex addiction and the inevitable stint on “Celebrity Rehab”:
Here’s what’s needed for this action-packed promo:
-People of all ages, body types, ethnicities who are comfortable running (mostly short distances)
-Secret service/”men in black” types
All interested individuals should send a photo, contact phone number, and brief description of any on-camera experience (not a requirement!) to:
casting@loadedpictures.com
You will need to be available for:
-A callback session on Sunday, August 29 sometime between 4-7PM.
If chosen to be in the shoot:
-Wardrobe fitting on Tuesday, August 31 in the late afternoon/early evening.
-Shoot Day on Thursday, September 2 (various blocks of time during the day and late evening)
Well, THAT seems easy enough…just remember me when you’re a HUGE star in LaLaLand and hanging out with Jake Gyllenhaal, Hayden Christensen and Zac Efron! Awesome!
As for volunteering opportunities, it’s pretty easy as well…
The Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival is looking for volunteers for the 2010 festival (Oct. 15-24). We need volunteers to usher, set up and break down events, staff will call and merchandise tables and assist with other event related duties. Volunteers earn coupons to see movies for free and have a great time helping out with the event.
All volunteers should plan to attend the Volunteer Orientation on September 26, 1:00 PM, at Northwest Film Forum.
For more information send an e-mail to the Volunteer Coordinator, Kevin Fansler at kevin@threedollarbillcinema.org.
I’ve volunteered several times for SLGFF and it’s a great way to meet people and get involved in the community. Also, MOVIES…for FREE! Do IT!
