The Good Sisters of the Abbey of Saint Joan will face off with the beefy, burly studs of the Seattle Quake rugby team for a good natured game of Kickball they’re calling Jockstraps and Glitter this Saturday at 6pm in a benefit to raise more funds for the Capitol Hill Alano Club. If you remember, the Alano Club was facing closure earlier this summer unless they were able to raise $15k…happily, that goal was met but in order to insure their continued viability, the Sisters and Quake have teamed up to raise additional funds. Suggested donation to attend the event is $5 and you can bid on opportunities to change the play of the game: !
Your donations can – pull a player out, put a player back in, get a player to loose their shirt, run backwards, score a point, have a player lose their shorts & play in jock, make a Sister lose their face on a rugby player.
And a very special donation – Rugby player gets put in “Sister face” and switches teams. – So bring CA$H.!
The fun starts at 4:30pm with pre-game cocktails at Purr, followed by the game at 6pm and the Black and Blue Victory Party (everyone is a winner!) at 9pm at CC Attle’s, AND dancing at The Cuff until the wee-wee hours of the morning…A very worthy cause and an opportunity to see hot, muscley, hairy Rugby butts! Everyone IS a winner!
