The awesomeness that is the Seattle Storm, the winningest professional sports team in Seattle, clinched the best of three Western Conference semifinals today at the Staples Center by beating the Los Angeles Sparks 81-66. Congrats to Lauren Jackson, Sue Bird and the rest of the team as they advance to the next round in the playoffs by facing the defending WNBA champs, the Phoenix Mercury in the Western Conference Finals next Thursday, Sept 2 at 7pm at Key Arena in Seattle.
