Storm Fans Cheer as the WNBA Western Champs head to Finals AND raise the flag atop the Space Needle Friday!

September 10, 2010• bySeattle Gay Scene

The amazing women of the Seattle Storm won the WNBA Western Conference Title and they’re heading to the first game of the finals, against the Atlanta Dream, this Sunday, September 12 at Noon here in Seattle at Key Arena…get your tickets HERE and cheer on our hometown team!

AND, if that wasn’t enough, revel in the beauty of the Storm flag flying over the Space Needle beginning tomorrow at 10am! Players, coaches, staff and Storm CEO Karen Bryant will be in attendance for the ceremony. The 20×30 foot flag is marked with the names of more than 6000 of their most dedicated fans. If the Storm’s 17-0 Home record this season wasn’t enough, the Conference win and trip to the finals is just icing on a very delicious cake this season…CONGRATS to the Team, Coaches and Staff of the Seattle Storm!
