Suzan DelBene and Dave Reichert running for the District 8 US Congressional seat. Ms DelBene is scheduled to attend the GSBA Candidate Forum on Wednesday.
It’s the only LGBTQ candidate forum being held this year and it’s your only opportunity to address LGBTQ issues with candidates in many of the major races in this year’s election to be held November 2. Doesn’t matter if you want to question the candidates about DADT, ENDA, marriage laws, taxes, the economy, bike lanes or proposed Chihuly museums, this is your opportunity for YOUR voice to be heard.
But, if you want to attend this event, you need to register at the Greater Seattle Business Association website. And, it’s happening Wednesday, September 22 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, 721 Pine Street in Downtown Seattle. (You can also call 206-363-9188). The event is co-sponsored by Equal Rights Washington and QLaw and ticket prices range from $32 for students and GSBA members to $37 for non-members and includes a full lunch.
