The Lobby Bar is going to be the official pre-party for The Red Dress Party on Oct. 16th and Pandora Boxx from RuPaul’s Drag Race will make a special appearance and even perform a number at Lobby Bar later in the evening. She has been called “America’s next drag superstar” and is here promoting her film “Inside Pandora’s Boxx” at the Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. More details will be coming on the specifics of the pre-party so stay tuned.

Seattle’s Red Dress Party is only TWO weeks away on Saturday October 16, 2010 and this event SELLS OUT every year but there are still a few tickets remaining. This year’s event will be held at the Fremont Studios. Beneficiaries for this year’s event are MultiFaith Works, Gay City Health Project, Lifelong AIDS Alliance and “Rise and Shine.”

While the color red is commonly accepted as the international symbol of AIDS awareness, the Seattle Red Dress Party builds on that idea by encouraging all guests, despite age, gender or sexual orientation, to attend the event and wear a red dress. The visual of all attendees donning red dresses whether male, female, gay, straight, old or young, serves as a powerful symbol of solidarity of people living with HIV/AIDS.

The event kicks off at 8pm and features the one of the best DJs in Seattle, DJ Brian Gorr, along with a special performance by Shokra.

Red dress required; attitude optional.

Break out the red dress and get your Red Dress tickets in advance at a discount for $40. VIP tickets are only $80 in advance. For more info and tickets, visit www.seattlereddressparty.org.
