Rainbow Contra Dance begins Saturday

October 1, 2010• bySeattle Gay Scene

Something new and interesting is coming to Seattle…
LGBT Contra Dancing!

Interested in building community, making new friends in a casual and fun environment, learning to dance while having a rootin tootin, foot stompin helluva good time in the process? Then come dance with Seattle Rainbow Contra Dance on Saturday, October 2nd at the historic Washington Hall!

Contra dancing is similar to square dancing but danced in lines down the main hall and done to a live band. Neither having experience or a partner is required for this dance and the style is really easy to learn.
