It’s Black Friday, so either you’re supposed to shop, or go to the opening of one of a dozen different Holiday themed stage shows this weekend. If you’re not theatrically inclined, or you hate the crowds at the mall, there are still TONS of things to do tonight. (If you ARE theatrically inclined, you can always go to the openings for Dina Martina, The Judy Garland Christmas Special, PNB’s The Nutcracker or ACT’s A Christmas Carol...)
The much ballyhooed “Burlesque”, starring Cher and Christina Aguilera is now out in theaters which also means the soundtrack album is out, too. Neighbours is hosting an album release party tonight hosted by Lily Armani and the “Untucked” crew. Doors open at 7:30pm and show starts at 8:30pm. They’ll be giving out cds, t-shirts, posters and all sorts of Burlesque swag including Cam Gigandet’s sweaty jockstrap, (kidding…unfortunately). I’m guessing they’ll be playing the cd, so you can groove to the songs including Cher’s big ballad, “You Haven’t Seen The Last of Me” which is the story of her life.
Like the rest of us, Comeback is suffering from a “Turkey Hangover”, (though, I know many of our readers are also suffering from “Tofurky” Hangovers, as well as plain, old, “I drank WAAAAY too much booze” Hangovers, as well…) To recover and celebrate, the Comeback crew is inviting you all to this month’s party at Chop Suey, tonight at 9pm to shake off those Turkey and Cranberry Vodka induced DT’s…
