How have we NOT seen this video before?!?!? It’s over a decade old and many of us at SGS are HUGE fans of Bond and Bond music! Here’s producer/composer David Arnold’s, (who also plays the bum/pianist in the video) tribute to the classic theme to “Diamonds are Forever” originally composed by the legendary John Barry and sung by the equally legendary Shirley Bassey and performed here by the should be legendary singer David McAlmont. Mr Arnold’s work on the Bond tribute album, Shaken and Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project so impressed John Barry that he recommended Mr Arnold to Bond producers and subsequently, the composer has done the music for the last 5 Bond films. The composer, (who we totally have a huge crush on, btw…) is also known for his scores for Independence Day, Stargate, the just released sci-fi comedy, Paul and the Little Britain television series.
