The Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival needs a few good men & women.

September 8, 2011• bySeattle Gay Scene

It’s not that far off; the 16th annual Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival runs October 14-23 with the line-up announcement coming in late September.

AND, it takes HUNDREDS of people to put on the Festival and they always need plenty of eager bodies to help tear tickets, seat patrons, set up events and do the thousand little things it takes to run a ten day film festival. Yes, it takes a big Gay Village to put on a big Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.

Kevin Fansler, the Volunteer Major Domo of Three Dollar Bill Cinema, the producers of the SLGFF has issued a call for volunteers to help create that big Gay Village. If you have some time on your hands, want to meet new people, like to help out for community events, or need to earn some community service credits, then sign up. Here’s the skinny from Kevin:

Free movies!
Come learn about volunteering at the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival and earn a free voucher to see a movie at the festival! Volunteer Orientation is Sept 25, 11 AM, at the SIFF Film Center. Register online at http://www.shiftboard.com/threedollarbillcinema/

Do IT!
