It’s the night before December and all through the house, drag queens and djs dig out that holiday blouse…yeah, I’m not a poet. BUT, all sorts of holiday shows are in the planning stages and several debut this week. Let’s take a look at them, shall we?
Anita and Cassie prepare for Xmas...
Thursday is December 1 and the always returning Anita Goodmann returns yet again with yet another “experience”, “The Return of The Anita Goodmann Experience Holiday Special” this time, with a holiday flava. The blond bombshell returns to the Rendezvous/Jewelbox Theater for her annual holiday show with some very special guests including her co-hostess Miss Cassie O’Hara; Santa Claus and his new girlfriend, (Jeffrey Henry and Kate Jaeger); the Christmas Bear with a sordid past (Brendan Mack), and songs by Gams Galore and Gary Gloryhole. And, how could the holidays be complete without Anita and Cassie’s annual holiday extravaganza performance of “Boob Job for Christmas,” complete with dancing boobs!
It just wouldn’t.
$10 for regular folks, half-price for fellow performers.

Friday offers TWO holiday offerings…one with Sylvia & Tor and their Holiday Cabaret Show. Let’s let Miss Sylvia describe it:
After a few months off from shows Sylvia and Tor come back for a special Holiday Cabaret. A whole bunch of new songs and some old favorites!
I have been on a little break since June with no Cabaret shows booked, so I thought since I have a whole new selection of songs ready to go, I should book another Cabaret!
I am doing this strictly as a fundraiser for the Senior Center of West Seattle. All proceeds go to them.
So here you go!
In this show, Cabaret with Sylvia and Tor, we follow up our talents and collaborate passions and personalities to create a very fun journey in musical entertainment.

Now we come to Saturday the 3rd, and yet again we have multiple options, including ANOTHER treat from Sylvia O’Stayformore, ’cause it’s the first Saturday of the month and it’s time for….BACON STRIP!!! And, it’s XMAS so it means a cheery Holiday Theme. Ms O’Stayformore is feeling charitable, so she wants you to help out the Tots with some Toys:
Sylvia O’Stayformore and the tawdry cast of Bacon Strip will be serving up holiday cheer next month with their Toys for Tarts show. Sylvia and the cast will bring you a night of seasonal laughs in their always original and unique drag performance art interpretations. ”This year, we’ll be putting Christ back into Christmas,” said Ms. O’Stayformore. “Just don’t be expecting to see Him in the more traditional sense,” she added with a twinkle in her eye.
So come on down to Rebar on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011. Doors open at 10:00 pm and the show begins promptly at 10:30 pm…or as soon as Sylvia can corral the drag queens. Bacon Strip will be collecting unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots campaign. Admission is just $8 with a toy; $10 without a toy. Sylvia loves to help underprivileged children and she’s been waiting all year to deliver your toys to those hunky Marines who coordinate the program. Help the cast of Bacon Strip spread a little holiday cheer by bringing a toy. Semper Fi and HoHoHo!!
Hmmmm….we think Sylvia is mainly interested in dropping off some “treats” for those Marines…

FINALLY, we have a treat for our Lady Loving Lady Friends; Lady Jane DJ is cooking up a special “Crunk Holidayz” at The Wildrose this Saturday night with special guest, Ruby Rouge emceeing and doing a number, AND a “Ms Santa Claus” contest…FUN!
