Celeste Holm and Bette Davis in “All About Eve”
Iconic film/television/stage actress Celeste Holm has passed away at the age of 95. The Oscar winning actress is best known for her role in the classic film, “All About Eve” but familiar to all ages for her body of work spanning 70 years.
She was also known as being a bit of a diva off set/behind the stage. Anyone who’s read the terrific book, “All About All About Eve” about the making of that film knows she was a bit feisty and testy.
We should have Mark “Mom” Finley write an obit…he has a very funny story about his encounter with Miss Holm back in the day when Mark was an acting student in NYC. She was apparently just the tiniest bit “hunty”.
Still…she was a terrific actress and a mesmerizing presence to the many films, tv shows and plays she appeared in…
