A Tisket, A Tasket…Time For A Seattle Pride Parade Picnic Basket!

The annual Seattle Pride Picnic in Volunteer Park is Saturday, June 14 starting at 11 am, and it’s happening regardless of how drippy it might be! (Hopefully, NOT drippy!!!!) It’s a fun, family friendly event for the entire Alphabet Soup Family and their allies. Drag Queen families should come, too! (Except they don’t tend to get out of bed until 2 pm….)

Here’s all the official poo from the Seattle Pride website including the schedule of entertainment. (Why the hell would I take the time to rewrite all that when someone at Seattle Pride has done such a lovely job?) A couple other things to note: you can donate hygiene items and school supplies in lieu of the $1 meal fee…it benefits two great orgs. AND, big Seattle Pride sponsor T-MOBILE will have a booth with employment recruiters, so if you’re looking for a JOB, then check it out!

Seattle Pride is supporting two amazing youth organizations at the Pride Picnic this year. We will be collecting hygiene items for YouthCare and school supplies for Communities In Schools of Seattle! Attendees are encouraged to bring an in-kind donation item in lieu of buying a meal ticket!
