Volunteer Park Pride Has An Awesome Musical Line Up

Well, we’ll give Seattle Pride this much…they certainly have upped the entertainment ante for the Event Formerly Known As Pride Family Picnic…the event is still held on the 2nd Saturday in June in Capitol Hill’s Volunteer Park but instead of mostly offering up various version of “The Snoqualmie Gay Jug Band” or “The Sequim Men’s Chorus”, this year’s event has notable local musicians like the band SISTERS but they also flew in some great queer artists from around the country like the Big Dipper and Double Duchess.

It starts at noon this Saturday, June 10th. There will also be a beer garden, food trucks, the usual array of booths and family friendly stuff as well.

Join us for the annual Volunteer Park Pride Festival (formerly known as the Pride Family Picnic) on Saturday, June 10th 2017 from 12noon-7pm! The Volunteer Park Pride Festival is a chance for family and friends to come together in one of Seattle’s iconic parks and celebrate our amazing LGBTQ community. As in years past, we’ll have LIVE MUSIC, BEER GARDEN, FOOD TRUCKS, CRAFT BOOTHS, AND GAMES throughout the event!
