Business of Pride Honors 2024 Business and Community Leaders…But, Not Me (Sniff)

April 23, 2024• byMichael Strangeways

The Greater Seattle Business Association aka the GSBA and The Puget Sound Business Journal aka the PSBJ have teamed up once again to present the Business of Pride event/fundraiser to honor LGBTQ+ business leaders.

And, once again, I’ve been snubbed.

So far this year, I’ve been snubbed for the Oscar, the Grammy, the Emmy, the Pulitzer, the Empress of Seattle and now THIS!

It’s so unfair! I’m going to blame all the nepo babies in the business for snatching my thunder!!!

Anyways, this year’s event is happening June 6th at Hideaway Cellars with a reception at 4pm and a “prestigious awards ceremony” at 4:45pm then a “vibrant networking reception” until 6:30pm. And, you can enjoy all this prestigious and vibrant fun for the low, low price of only….

$4500 for a table of ten!!!!! (which, to be fair in my snarkiness, also includes an ad in the highly read PSBJ)

And, if you’re traveling solo, you can snag a seat for only $195!!!!

Oh…I get it. I’m not winning anything because I can’t afford to go. Maybe I could bus tables?

The skinny:

Join us at Hideaway Cellars on June 6th at 4:30 PM for the highly anticipated Business of Pride reception! This event, a partnership between GSBA and The Puget Sound Business Journal, is a platform to honor and celebrate the exceptional LGBTQ+ business leaders, allies, and advocates in the Puget Sound region. The evening starts with a warm welcome reception at 4:00 PM, followed by a prestigious awards ceremony at 4:45 PM, and a vibrant networking reception from 5:45 PM to 6:30 PM. This 21+ event offers a delectable spread of appetizers and cocktails, and GSBA members enjoy a special discount when they purchase a ticket.

But, not necessarily in that order.
