The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) @humanrightscampaign dinner events are inspiring opportunities to gather together as a community, share our work with you, and raise critical funds to fuel our mission.

Join HRC Seattle on October 5, 2024 at the Sheraton Grand Seattle at 5:00 PM for our welcome reception and silent auction, with dinner and program to follow at 6:30 PM. This year, we are honored to present our HRC Community Impact Award to the Seattle Reign FC and we will hear from our special guests comedian Dana Goldberg and HRC’s Vice President for Strategic Outreach & Engagement, Nik Harris.

In this election year, we’re fighting to protect our democracy by winning back the House of Representatives, holding onto our pro-equality majority in the Senate, and making history by electing Vice President Kamala Harris as the most pro-LGBTQ+ president in history. We’re also fighting an onslaught of anti-equality legislation in the statehouses while we work to make schools, workplaces, and public spaces safe for LGBTQ+ people across the country. Only together can we expand our rights and achieve real and lasting positive change.

Let’s continue to show up for equality by celebrating our successes and working to make our voices heard. As HRC President Kelly Robinson @kelleyjrobinson says, “when we fight, we win.”

A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
