It’s the new film by queer director Luca Guadagnino and based on the novel by the also very queer William S. Burroughs and stars….007. It’s QUEER and judging by word of mouth, early reviews, and the gorgeous trailer, it should be a must see awards season LGBTQ movie for fans of quality cinema.
Guadagnino makes lush films on queer subjects; we’re still swooning at the memories of his very successful “Call Me By Your Name” which we’re shocked to remember is from all the way back in 2017. Since then, he’s also done a very sapphic remake of the horror film Suspiria, which polarized audiences (I love it, though it’s a tad longer that it should be) and the quirky cannibal love story, Bones & All.
Check it out.

His encounter with Eugene Allerton, an expat former soldier, new to the city, shows him, for the first time, that it might be finally possible to establish an intimate connection with somebody.
