Gimme Gimme Disco Takes Over Pier 62

September 2, 2025• byMichael Strangeways

Who Loves The Nightlife? EVERYONE loves the Nightlife!

As long as it’s over by 10pm…

Thus, the GIMME GIMME DISCO FEST is the perfect way to enjoy the greatest disco hits of the late 70s/early 80s and it’s happening at Seattle Waterfront’s Pier 62 on Saturday September 13th from 6pm to 10pm! It’s an ideal way to enjoy your favorite dance hits…especially since most of the original fans of that music are 60+ and need to be home and in bed by 11pm enjoying a hot cup of cocoa and a dose of Boniva!

Frankly, there’s not a ton of specific info about the event…it is 21+ and obviously it’s not just an LGBTQ event…old straight people are also very much encouraged to attend, too!

It’s also on the waterfront in the evening in September so dress warmly!!!!

You can snag tickets at https://www.ticketweb.com/event/gimme-gimme-disco-the-crocodile-tickets/13915894

All we can find is this blurb and a poster listing music artists…this is mostly a DJ show but with some live performances apparently, too:

 Gimme Gimme Disco Fest

If you can’t get enough of ABBA, boy do we have THE dance party for you! We are a DJ based dance party playing all your favorite ABBA tracks, plus plenty of other disco hits from the 70s & 80’s like The Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Cher, & so much more. So honey honey, take-a-chance and you’ll be dancing all night long. Grab tickets, put on your best disco attire, bring your friends, and have the best night of your life!

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
