“No Kings” Rally and Rally Set For October 18th

October 8, 2025• byMichael Strangeways

A new “No Kings” Rally and March to protest the illegal actions and abuses of power by the Trump Administration and Republicans in Congress is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th. The peaceful demonstration will begin at Noon at Seattle Center at Fisher Pavilion. There’s more info down below and at their website: https://seattleindivisible.com/events/nokingsoct18/

Charlette LeFevre and Philip Lipson of Capitol Hill Pride are also producing a rally/march on Capitol Hill prior to the Noon event at Seattle Center. It will begin at 10am on Saturday, October 18th at the plaza in front of Seattle Central College at Broadway & Pine. More info at https://www.facebook.com/events/24235714726051239/

More info:

We’re marching together against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On October 18, we gather to remind President Trump and his enablers: America has No Kings!

NO KINGS is a peaceful, national day of action–a mass mobilization of ordinary Americans determined to stop the rising authoritarianism and corruption of the Trump administration.

President Trump wants to be a dictator. But Americans bow to No Kings: Trump seeks to silence all voices but his. He’s using orders, threats, intimidation, and the full force of the federal government to crush dissent—seeking to control what schools teach, what news and voices we hear, and weaponizing the Department of Justice against his critics.

Trump is dividing us to maintain power. We’re stronger together: Trump is advancing a white nationalist agenda, targeting and terrorizing our communities instead of uniting us. The world has seen this playbook—and it’s dangerous.

Trump is turning the federal government against the American people. Trump is building a government he alone controls—serving himself and billionaires who curry his favor. While he guts critical programs, protections and freedoms for ordinary Americans, he orders troops and masked agents into our cities.

Only The People can stop him: While Congress and corporate interests cower, we will not be intimidated. We must rise–together, in mass numbers that cannot be ignored–as a firewall against authoritarian rule. Our democracy, our children’s future, and the global order depend on it.

October 18th. Seattle Center. Be there.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to non-violent action. This event is a protected expression of our First Amendment rights. We have a commitment to keeping all members of our community safe. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to the event.

We hope you will join us on Saturday. We are determined not to let the Trump administration’s fear tactics silence us.
