Last year’s big Pink Party was a huge success, taking over Pier 62 on Seattle’s waterfront and organizer/producer Casey Berner had hoped to repeat last year’s success with a similar mega event to happen June 13, 2026 but the behemoth known as World Cup 26 derailed those plans with FIFA taking over event spaces all over the metro area. But, Berner and his Roar Productions refused to give up, so Pink Party 2 WILL happen, only it’s going to go down on Monday, September 7th, aka Labor Day! As for June Pride Month, Berner still wanted to throw some kind of Pink Party event so they’ll be taking over Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill (June 13, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM) for a FREE dance party event with an afterparty called The Pink Afters at The Cuff Complex (June 13, 9:00 PM to late) (not free).

SEATTLE (May 2026) — The Pink Party, Seattle’s queer-powered waterfront dance party, returns to Pier 62 on Monday, September 7, 2026 (Labor Day) for its second annual celebration of music, community, and self-expression. The daytime event runs from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM against the backdrop of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains, headlined by Spencer Brown and Qrion with support from a stacked lineup of local and regional LGBTQ+ DJs.
What began as a 100-person backyard gathering among friends has grown into one of the Pacific Northwest’s most talked-about queer cultural events. In its 2025 debut at Pier 62, The Pink Party sold over 900 tickets, with 70% selling before doors opened. Post-event surveys showed 98% of attendees said they would return, and the event was voted Best Festival by Queer Seattle in its inaugural year. For 2026, organizers intend to double attendance.
A SUMMER RESHAPED BY THE WORLD CUP
The Pink Party’s 2026 story carries an unexpected twist. Originally scheduled for June 13 at Pier 62, organizers had been working with the venue since the end of the 2025 event to secure the date. In late February, they were informed the waterfront venue had been committed to FIFA World Cup 2026 fan celebration activities from June 11 through July 6, and that the event would need to relocate or move to a different date.
Rather than abandon the venue that helped define the brand, The Pink Party adapted. The flagship event moved to Labor Day weekend, and two new companion events were created to fill the original June date:
The Pink Park Party, a free queer community dance party at Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill (June 13, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM), and The Pink Afters at The Cuff Complex (June 13, 9:00 PM to late). What started as a displacement became an expansion.

We explored other venues for that date and weekend, but after looking at our options and discussing internally with our team, we decided that of the replacement dates we were offered, a punctuation of summer on Labor Day was our best move to keep the event going. But we also didn’t want to abandon our June 13th date entirely, so we decided to throw a free event in Cal Anderson Park featuring music, vendors, and community.”

THE 2026 LINEUP
The Pink Party’s 2026 lineup is led by two artists whose sounds define the intersection of melody and movement that sits at the heart of the event.
Spencer Brown continues to lead the next generation of dance music elite. Prizing craft over spectacle, he is recognized by legends and peers for his floor-filling productions and hypnotic crowd command. His tracks are played regularly by the world’s top DJs, including Solomun, Carl Cox, deadmau5, and John Digweed. A constant presence on his own label diviine as well as Anjunadeep, Bedrock, and Higher Ground, Spencer has released three studio albums, all reaching number one on the iTunes Dance charts. After nearly 20 years of playing live, his recent conquests include headline shows across the UK, Asia, South America, and sold-out sets from San Francisco to New York.
Qrion (pronounced “kree-on”), born and raised in Sapporo, Japan and now residing in Austin, Texas, crafts a sound that blends melancholy, dancefloor energy, and soulful exploration. A staple on revered labels including Anjunadeep, Last Night On Earth, and Mad Decent, she was named to Forbes Japan’s 30 Under 30 list and recognized as DJ Mag’s 2021 Future Star. Her debut album I Hope It Lasts Forever was included in Billboard’s 20 Best Dance Albums of 2021. Notably, Spencer Brown and Qrion have a history of collaboration, having released “20ms” together via diviine records.
They are joined by a supporting lineup of local and regional talent: Sharlese, Leah York, Cafénico, Rachel Vick, Essex, Andrew Scott, and Nick Cressman, with performances from the ROAR Dance Icons.
MORE THAN A PARTY
The Pink Party is built on three pillars: Queer Joy as Resistance, Community Through Music and Movement, and Inclusive Public Celebration. The event is intentionally outdoor, daytime, and highly visible, designed to reclaim public space as a site of queer celebration. Its audience skews 21 to 55 (core: 28 to 40), with approximately 70% identifying as LGBTQ+ and 30% allied. In 2025, 15% of attendees traveled from outside Washington state.
The event is produced by ROAR Events, a queer-owned Seattle events company founded in 2022, in partnership with Innerstate Productions. ROAR produces The Pink Party series, Yacht Club Pride Cruise, and other events celebrating sound, movement, and community year-round.
