Don’t forget!

SING OUT, LOUISE!!!!!!!!

Seattle Men’s Chorus is calling out for new chorus members once again with auditions beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12. All participants are required to register online before auditioning.

The upcoming auditions for the 2026-27 season include the Chorus’ popular holiday show, from Dec. 4–22 with performances in Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, and Olympia, as well as a spring concert with performances in April and May.

Known for its beloved annual holiday show, the Chorus also entertains audiences year-round with a mix of classic tunes and contemporary hits, all enhanced by festive costumes and dazzling choreography. This Pacific Northwest tradition delights audiences with interactive sing-alongs, heartfelt tributes, and plenty of humor. The September auditions are a chance for new voices to step into the spotlight and help bring the magic to life.

Seattle Men’s Chorus rehearsal obligations include Monday evenings through performance week and at a minimum one Saturday rehearsal each concert cycle.

“Every season, this Chorus finds a new way to surprise me,” said Paul Caldwell, Seattle Men’s Chorus and Seattle Women’s Chorus artistic director. “Whether we’re ringing in the holidays or lighting up the stage for a night of disco, our members bring so much heart and joy to everything we do. I can’t wait to see who joins us this year.”

The Seattle Men’s Chorus is among the largest, and longest-running, LGBTQ-identified choruses in the world with more than 350 members and approximately 200 on stage at a time.

Established in 1979, the Seattle Men’s Chorus has performed at locations across the U.S., such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Boston Symphony Hall, and has toured internationally in Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Their shows have showcased performances with notable guest stars from stage and screen, including Nina West, Harvey Fierstein, Megan Mullally, Kristin Chenoweth, Megan Hilty, and Tituss Burgess.

Those interested in auditioning are encouraged to complete this form on the Seattle Men’s Chorus website, and audition details will be distributed via email.

AND, here’s the PR for the Seattle Women’s Chorus!

Seattle Women’s Chorus is calling out for new chorus members once again with auditions beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29. All participants are required to register online before auditioning.

The upcoming auditions for the 2026-27 season include the Chorus’ winter concert, with performances on Feb. 20 and Feb. 27, 2027.

Seattle Women’s Chorus serves as a dynamic and powerful voice for LGBTQ+ and women’s social justice both in the greater Seattle area and throughout the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses network globally. Their shows feature creatively themed programs that include a broad spectrum of classical and popular music. The September auditions are a chance for new voices to step into the spotlight and help bring the magic to life.

Seattle Women’s Chorus rehearsal obligations include Tuesday evenings through performance week and at a minimum one Saturday rehearsal each concert cycle.

“It’s an amazing group of people,” said Beth Ann Bonnecroy, resident conductor of Seattle Women’s Chorus. “The chorus has structures in place to mentor new members with people who’ve been around a while, helping navigate the logistics of the chorus.”

Since its founding in 2002, the Seattle Women’s Chorus has toured the western United States and engaged in community projects with organizations such as Women for Women International, Lambert House, and Citizens Against Domestic & Sexual Abuse (CADA), among many others.

Those interested in auditioning are encouraged to complete this form on the Seattle Women’s Chorus website, and audition details will be distributed via email.
