BIG HUGE protest involving many many thousands of people in Seattle is being organized this weekend by Join The Impact over the passage of Prop 8 in California. The protest is at Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill on Saturday November 15, 2008 beginning at 10:30am with a rally at Noon. There will be a 2.5 mile march to Westlake Center in downtown Seattle immediately following the Volunteer Park rally for another rally in downtown at Westlake Center at 2pm.
This is not just about “gay marriage” – it’s about Marriage Equality, which is the theme for this march, and having our right to marry in California stripped away from us thanks to a last minute influx of over $25 million contributed to a sleazy campaign filled with deceit and lies about gay people.
