The website seaQwa will move into ‘hiatus mode’ until April

January 18, 2009• byBill W

The Seattle gay website seaQwa provides gay news and information with headlines from around the globe. The website is run by Robin Evans who was editor of the Seattle Gay News back in the 1980’s.

The announcement on his website starts with the following:

It’s a new year. And recent problems with the software that runs this site prompts me to finally make a decision I’ve been contemplating for months: This site will go on hiatus until at least April.

But not to worry. seaQwa will be back but with a different look and focus:

When the site returns in the spring, this will be a different site in a number of ways. It will look different. The contents will be different in some ways. And the site will use a different software platform to run things. (Which platform that will be I haven’t yet decided.)
