The first Thursday of every month is Free Admission day at Seattle ASIAN Art Museum! The folks over at The Seattle LGBT Meetup Group are organizing a get together for Thursday February 5th, 2009 at 7pm. RSVP is required.
Let’s go explore SAAM [Seattle Asian Art Musuem] together! They’ve got some great permanent exhibitions as well as some on loan, and ALL of it is free!
We’ll take in some art, move around at whatever pace suits us, and if we separate due to tastes, no big deal! We’ll be sure to see each other wandering throughout, but for the most part, we’ll stick together and enjoy each others’ company. Afterwards we may stay in the neighborhood and go for a drink or some hot cocoa, just to round out the evening.
Last I looked there were already 20 people either confirmed or a “maybe” over at the MeetUp. Sounds like it could be fun for a Thursday evening and it’s free.
