I am excited about the HX Gay & Lesbian Travel Expo on Thursday February 26, 2009 from 4pm – 8pm. The past two years I have gone, it was a lot more fun than I would have expected for a “travel expo.” The drinks were a bit expensive but after all, it is a hotel so what should I expect? Looks like the folks at HX Media have put a lot of effort into setting up this event and it is pretty easy to drop in after work if you are near downtown or it lasts until 8pm for folks coming in from other areas. There is always lots of nice freebies and cool trinkets given away. I picked up some pretty cool stuff and I even saw that Roaming Travelocity Gnome showing us his true colors at the event last year.
