Pacific Northwest Ballet presents Swan Lake.
This beloved story ballet is classical ballet at its very best. Sumptuous scenic, costume, and lighting design, and an achingly beautiful score, set the stage for the ethereal corps de ballet and the ultimate challenge for ballerinas all over the world – the dual role of Odette/Odile. Audience demand has already necessitated PNB adding two additional performances to the run. Swan Lake now runs from April 9 through 19 at Seattle Center’s Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. Tickets range from $25 – $160.
For more information, visit www.pnb.org.
PNB offers single tickets priced at $15 for patrons 25 and under (two for $25) for both Friday performances of Swan Lake, April 10 and 17 (offer is subject to availability). To purchase tickets, contact the PNB Box Office at 206.441.2424 or visit 301 Mercer Street. This offer good for April 10 and 17 performances only. Each attendee must present valid I.D. upon ticket retrieval.
This classic romantic story of a prince who falls in love with a princess that has been transformed into swan by an evil sorcerer represents every gay boy’s childhood dream of being able to perform as a swan maiden in one the most famous ballet ever written. With music by the world’s most famous gay composer Tchaikovsky, this three hour event with two intermissions is something you do not want to miss during its 10 day run in Seattle.
