White Party Palm Springs this weekend is not just about Circuit Parties and Dance Music. The Upright Cabaret features an star studded lineup of performers at Palm Springs’ unique Ace Hotel & Swim Club.
Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a reinvented desert resort in Palm Springs. Rooms have tent-like walls and vintage furnishings, some opening onto private outdoor patios and fireplaces. Open to the public, the Swim Club has a pool and hot tub, spa with steam and sauna, and the Short Bus bar, where you can get booze sno cones. King’s Highway restaurant and the Amigo Room bar serve simple, fresh food and margaritas mixed with house-made triple sec. Sip a drink by the pool, get a massage in a yurt, and play with your dog at the dog park.
For White Party, actor and Queer Eye Jai Rodriquez is checking in to host Upright Cabaret with an eclectic mix of artists from stage, record and screen. From relaxing by the pool to lounging at the bar or dining at King’s Highway, guests can enjoy this poolside show in a variety of ways.
The event will feature Tony Nominee Valarie Pettiford (Fosse), Katy Mixon (star of Four Christmases, Eastbound and Down, and State of Play), Ty Taylor (Rockstar: INXS, star of Pippin at the Mark Taper Forum), Michael Arden (Broadway: Tale of Two Cities, The Times They Are A’Changin’, L.A.’s Bare and Pippin at the Mark Taper Forum), Broadway star Billy Porter, and special guest host Jai Rodriquez (Broadway: Rent, Films: Oy Vey, My Son is Gay, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy).
