Defending Marriage – The Moral High Ground?

May 20, 2009• byBill W

The Stranger News reports that another anti-gay leader from the group Protect Marriage Washington had some significant marital problems of his own. Larry Stickney has been married three times, divorced twice and his second wife made serious allegations of domestic abuse.

Records from the Kitsap County Superior Court show that in 1994, Stickney’s then-wife Cheryl alleged that he “badly injured” her twice, breaking her eardrum by hitting her in the ear.

The details are here.

The Stranger already gave us the dirt on Representative Matt Shea and Gary Randall’s tax problems. They are also from the very same Protect Marriage Washington group looking to repeal the state’s domestic partnership law.

Maybe these folks should start by protecting their own marriages.
