The Original HotMess, Started a National Phenomenon, Will Have Final Event on June 19

May 21, 2009• byBill W

HotMess is Seattle’s original queer dance party that inspired copy cats all over the country.

“Au Revoir!” Qulture Qreative and Hitgirl-Relaunch say goodbye! with the final HotMess scheduled for Friday June 19, 2009. After 3+ years of bringing some of the best queer talent to Seattle they are saying “Thank You and Good Night!” with their final event.

HotMess ringmaster David Richey of Qulture Qreative said;

We will be focusing on our soon to be announced weekly queer dance party and of course will also continue to bring you great talent and special shows.

War Room will be changing formats for the third Friday of the month so no more alternating HotMess or VS. Party.

The Final HotMess will be Friday June 19, 2009 at War Room and featuring Peppermint (NYC) (www.myspace.com/peppermintonline) along with DJs LA Kendall, Mathematix and local legend Colby B.

Starting in late June watch for HARD TIMES! “Polly Olly, Queer, Faggy, Hipster, lez weekly dance party!”
