Photo: Matt Daniels.On Sunday, May 24 Pop Star on Ice, a film by David Barba and James Pellerito about figure skater Johnny Weir, World Premiered at SIFF in Seattle. The film screened at Seattle’s Egyptian Theater to hundreds of audience members with Barba and Pellerito in attendance. Jon Heder’s character in Blades of Glory was based on Johnny Weir. Pop Star on Ice screens a second time at SIFF at the Kirkland Performance Center on June 5.
