DIVALYCIOUS: Girls Gone Diva! will be playing at Julia’s On Broadway for four consecutive Sundays between July 26 – August 16, 2009 at 7:00pm.
“GIRLS GONE DIVA!” is a Reno-style lounge act where the Divas pay tribute to all things “girl”. A highlight of this production is their show-stopping tribute to 100 years of girl groups, including salutes to The Andrews Sisters, The McGuire Sisters, The Supremes, LaBelle, The Pointer Sisters, Sister Sledge, The Weather Girls, En Vogue and The Spice Girls. This tour-de-force showcase includes such timeless hits as “I Love A Piano”, “Rum and Coca-Cola”, “Sincerely”, “My Boyfriend’s Back”, “It’s My Party”, “He’s So Shy”, “We Are Family”, “It’s Raining Men”, “Lady Marmalade”, “Never Gonna Get It”, “Spice Up Your Life and many, many more!
The group is accompanied by a live 4-piece band and the current cast of DIVALYCIOUS includes Stacie Calkins, Laurie Clothier, Ashley Middleton and Natalie Lerch. Musical Director and Arranger for DIVALYCIOUS is David Duvall.
DIVALYCIOUS proves once again that they can sing anything – moving effortlessly through jazz, rock, latin, salsa, gospel, classical, show tunes and rhythm & blues all in one fast-paced 90-minute show.
