Outdoor Theater – Free in Volunteer Park

July 16, 2009• byBill W

This summer Open Circle Theater presents a free show in Volunteer Park – Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? This is part a re-working of classic fairy tales and part hysterical Absurdest Theater with Craig Trolli as Little Red Riding Hood and Brian Prunty as Goldilocks.

Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? pits a hapless narrator against a lead character, Wolf, who just won’t cooperate. After starting one story he gets bored and insists that they jump to another. Soon they have started 3 stories and not finished any! As characters from different stories start colliding, who knows where it all may end up?

July 18 – August 8, 2009 – Saturdays & Sundays at 2pm.
In Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill – East Prospect St. and 14th Ave E. entrance in the playfield directly north of the Asian Art Museum.
This show is all ages, outdoors and free!
