Capitol Hill Block Party Weekend

This photo of the CHBP is from The Stranger back in 2008

If you are looking for coverage of the hugely popular Capitol Hill Block Party, going on now, you won’t find it on here. No offense to anyone but personally I find the celebration unsettling for some reason and full of douchebags.

However, it’s one of the best events all summer if you happen happen to be underage and there is not much in Seattle for the underage crowd. Plus some of the proceeds benefit a good cause.

You will find tons of coverage about the event over at Capitol Hill Seattle blog and The Stranger Line Out.

Maybe you like the music but don’t appreciate the crowds, Capitol Hill Seattle has a “freeloaders map” if you don’t want to pony up the $25 for the event.

Thank you. The block party isn't that exciting lately, and IS full of douchebags.
