Don’t miss Mink Stole live on Sat. Oct 17

October 16, 2009• bySeattle Gay Scene

Don’t miss Mink Stole live in person!
Saturday, October 17 10:45pm at the Egyptian Theatre
Today is last day to buy advance online tickets:

A night with Mink Stole, hosted by Peaches Christ

Join Peaches Christ for “A TOUCH OF MINK,” an evening of idol worship celebrating the legendary cult film queen Mink Stole, live and in person. Mink Stole has performed in over 25 films (including every John Waters movie) and 15 theatrical productions.

Ms. Stole joins Peaches Christ onstage to discuss her notorious film career, answer your questions, and do a post-show fan meet-and-greet. Peaches kindly requests that audience members dress up for the Mink Stole Look-Alike Contest!-or at least wear your clothes backwards.

Followed by a rare screening of DESPERATE LIVING, a “monstrous fairy tale” from John Waters about a middle-class murderess (Mink Stole) and her 400-pound maid, who find refuge in a village full of criminals and ruled by a demented queen. Unbelievably grotesque!

With tickets only $10 (same price as just about every other film) you do not want to wait and buy tickets at the door.
Tickets will not be available online on the day of the show.
Tickets may be available at the door but realize SLGFF has sold out their Festival Full Series Passes so demand will be high on Saturday night.

More details and tickets to the show are available here.
