October 23, 2014• bySeattle Gay Scene
Jack's BAAAAAAAACK for Can Can Cabaret's annual "This Is Halloween" show at The Triple Door.

Jack’s BAAAAAAAACK for Can Can Cabaret’s annual “This Is Halloween” show at The Triple Door.

It’s now a yearly tradition. Those adorable and very talented (and very sinewy) dancing kids from Can Can Cabaret are once again moving up the street from their little bistro home in Pike Place Market, to the much larger Triple Door to present their 8th annual spooky season spectacle, This Is Halloween, their fully staged homage to the beloved 1993 Tim Burton/Henry Selick stop motion animated film, A Nightmare Before Christmas which features the music and songs of Danny Elfman. This year’s edition is bigger and better than before and the show’s success can be measured by the fact they used to do 4 days of performances and this year, the Can Can Cavalcade will be hoofing it out for 13 shows starting tonight, Thursday, October 23 and lasting through Saturday, November 1. (Grab tickets HERE!)

An extravaganza of live music, cabaret, burlesque and video projected sets inspired by Tim Burton’s “Nightmare Before Christmas.” Starring Can Can’s finest dancers, Orkestar Zirkonium, and many more. 2014 brings many dazzling tricks and treats to the show with all new 3D special effects, choreography, scenic art and much, much more.

Can Can’s A-Team is about to take Triple Door audiences on a ride unlike any other they’ve ever witnessed!  Follow Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, Mayor, Lock, Shock, and Barrel, Santa Claus, and Zero to Halloween Town, where all the citizens have gathered to celebrate their holiday and success after terrifying the world.

Note that the earlier shows (7 or 7:30pm) are All Ages. Later shows are 21+.
