The end of November will also mean the end of the War Room nightclub on Capitol Hill. Details are here and here. Its space once held the gay bars Brass Connection and Blu. When new owners took over and changed the name to War Room, the general format changed to mostly straight hip hop but they hosted many gay friendly events such as HotMess, the VS. Party and Hard Times.
