War Room is gone. From June 24th to November 25th, 2009 they featured Hard Times, the queer art party every Wednesday before the bar closed at the end of November. But now Hard Times is coming back on February 13, 2010 to Rebar and every 2nd Saturday of the month.
Hard Times has been an amazing example of what this city of artists, queers, DJ’s, queens, breeders, performers and freaks can create if they ALL come as you are, together under one roof!
From Hard Times comes great ART!
The goal of Hard Times was to create a container, a clubhouse; a meeting places for ALL Queers (as defined by the dictionary) to meet, party and create together. This was a lofty goal but worth the effort and thanks to all of you it became a reality!
