Big ‘Ol Gay Purim in Seattle

February 18, 2010• bySeattle Gay Scene

The Second Annual Gay ‘Ol Purim Party is on Sunday, February 28th, from 7pm-11pm at Baltic Room (Note the located change).

Don’t miss the biggest GLBTQ Purim Party that Seattle has ever seen! Purim is often viewed as the Jewish coming out story, and to honor Esther’s “coming out” as a Jew we will be throwing a huge bash.

DJ Mathematix will be on site mixing music, and the evening will feature a ton of live entertainment including the wild and hilarious singer-songwriter Moorea Malatt and Purim burlesque by Honeysuckle. There will also be plenty of pink hamantaschen, drinks and dancing for just a $5 cover.

Don’t forget that Purim is a holiday to dress up on, so come in costume and win some fabulous prizes!

This event is made possible thanks to Babeland, Bashert, Three Dollar Cinema, The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, Jconnect, and The Baltic Room.
