Team USA vs. Canada – Watch in Gay Seattle

February 28, 2010• bySeattle Gay Scene

In what is certain to be a huge Olympic moment on Sunday Feb. 28th, USA’s ice hockey team takes on Canada at high noon for the Gold. USA already upset Canada last Sunday, just one week ago, during qualifying; On their home turf even.

The two most obvious choices to watch the big game are at The Elite and at Madison Pub. The BottleNeck Lounge is going all out and throwing a party starting at 11:30am and adding some Canadian Bacon garnish for their famous Bloody Marys. “Paint your face and get $1 off your first drink.” Hardly seems worth it but if you’re going to do it anyway might as well save a buck. Party details are here.

Whether you’re a hockey fan or not, don’t miss this game.
