Victoria Wilson James in her first Seattle visit on Thursday March 25, 2010 and visiting two clubs on Capitol Hill.
Victoria initially tasted international success through her featured role on Soul II Soul’s chart topping hit “A Dream’s A Dream”. Her performance in the sensational one time only World Tour of the band received rave reviews. The Village Voice praised her performance as a combination of Katherine Hepburn and Michael Jordan.
Following the success of her role with Soul II Soul, Victoria released her debut solo album, “Perseverance”, which yielded the top 5 U.S. Billboard hit “Through” and boasted remixes by Frankee Knuckles and David Morales. “Reach 4 the Melody” from her sophomore solo album Colourfields (SONY Dance Pool) produced by Alex Party and remixed by Boris Dlugosch topped dance charts around the world. Victoria returned to her love of musical theatre in a role which was especially created for her and alongside 80’s legend Kid Creole in the UK smash hit musical “Oh What A Night!”
First up is The Eagle (314 E Pike St.) with their “London’s Calling” event. DJs Tony Burns and JT O’Neill start at 8pm with jello shots all night. Victoria performs at 11pm. The dancers are Peter Farrar and Fazaad Feroze (Seattle’s sexiest pizza boy!), and a special appearance from Anita $nak. “London’s Calling” at The Eagle is free and on facebook.
Later in the night it’s Neighbours Nightclub where they will be welcoming “Glamazonia” as master of ceremonies at their weekly Rock Lobster 80’s night and Victoria performs at (or sometime after) Midnight. Neighbours also kicks off their newest event in the Underground – “Backspin” 70s disco with DJ Dana Dub! There is a $3 cover for Thursday’s Rock Lobster but hey they are open till 3am. Just what you were looking for on a Thursday night.

Thursday March 25, 2010 – Be sure to get there early…
Let's not forget that "Billboard Dance Reporter / C89.5" DJ Trent Von is gonna be there!
You forgot to put "Legendary" in front of that title. Making my Thursday morning drive so much enjoyable with 80's music.
