Some Lovely Photos from Capitol Hill Pride Fest 2010!

June 27, 2010• byMichael Strangeways

The obligatory photo of beloved Capitol Hill Icon, Boe Odyssey, aka “Spinning Scarf Dude”. The organizers sensibly gave him his own little booth in the middle of the intersection…

I will refrain from making a “Man and his Pussy” at Pride joke because there are CHILDREN in the picture…

Entertainment on the Main Stage…if I was a real journalist, I would have found out who they are, but the noise was so thick in that area due to the dueling sound system from the coffee stand, I had to quickly move on…

Regardless if you love her, lampoon her or obsessively stalk her, you have have to admit that Mark “Mom” Finley works her ass off when she hosts…here, she has a little break with some eyecandy…Hey! Mom is a Cougar and she needs a little companionship now and again, so LAY OFF!

These are the people in our Big Gay Neighborhood, enjoying what turned out to be a BEE-YOO-TEE-FUL DAY!! So, screw you religious bigot types who say God hates the gays, ’cause He/She/It’s lovin’ us today! So. Step. Back. Bigots!

Where do I sign up to become a Sister? I love these ladies and their good deeds! I need to devote my life to them so I’m not such a wicked, selfish little bastard! (But, I can’t wear heels that high; I get vertigo…)

There were several massage and spine booths on the street…what is it with the queers and their lousy spines? What the HELL are we doing to eff up our backs???? Oh, yeah…lots and lots of crazy, passionate, hours and hours long lasting sex marathons! WORD!

About the Author: Michael Strangeways

As the Editorial Director/Co-Owner, Michael Strangeways writes, edits and does about a million other jobs for Seattle Gay Scene, Puget Sound's most visited LGBTQ news, arts and entertainment website now celebrating its 14th year as a media outlet. A semi-proud Midwesterner by birth, he's lived in Seattle since 2000. He's also a film producer who would like you to check out the Jinkx Monsoon documentary, "Drag Becomes Him" now available on Amazon.com. In his spare time, he gets slightly obsessive about his love for old movies, challenging theater, "otters", vodka, chocolate, "I,Claudius", Lizzie Borden, real books made out of paper, disaster films, show tunes, Weimar era Germany, flea markets, pop surrealistic art, the sex lives of Hollywood actors both living and dead, kitties, chicken fried steak, haute couture and David Bowie. But, not necessarily in that order.
