Twenty year old Belgian model, Florian Van Bael was sh*t-canned from an Abercrombie & Fitch photo shoot for eating a croissant while on set. (I guess I should say “allegedly” since this story originates from the UK’s Daily Mail, not the most reliable of news sources…) The 30 models on set were on strict orders as to what they ate and drank, and how much they worked out and were being “monitored” to see if they complied with these requirements. The model’s agent seemed to be siding with the ad agency and not her own client and was quoted as saying, “‘I don’t think it’s a question about coffee or croissant, it’s just a question of respect during an important job.”
I agree…how dare this young man EAT during a photo shoot! He disgusts me. No one wants to see such a disgusting fat blob represent the fine fashions of Abercrombie & Fitch, especially when they are a role model to millions of impressionable frat boys and their balding, A&F ball cap wearing dads and gay uncles.
